June's Rhymes

Inside

Staying inside, ohh what a bummer
I like to be outside when it's summer
Instead, I stay inside scrubbing floors
I'd rather escape to the big outdoors
I'm chasing dust bunnies once again
Putting away dishes and pots and pans
Changing sheets and doing the wash
It's headed towards noon, oh my gosh
I wish I could be out watering flowers
I'm stuck inside, I'll be here for hours
Vacuum, sweep, and get things clean
Ohh to be outside, viewing that scene
Wonder what Deb, Peg & Stac are up to
Are they stuck inside with a lot to do?
Here's to the ladies that are my friends
Let's go outside with the gentle winds
